I decided to stalk local car dealerships this morning and took some pictures with my phone of this beautiful Golf R. Feel free to judge my photography skills, criticism is always welcome:)

Thanks, I’m impressed with how far phone cameras have come.

I did post a photodump of the Mercedes Benz museum but the photos turned out rather meh because I had to take them with a thousand other visitors strolling around that place. https://imgur.com/a/4OxKw

I just happened to be alone on the lot and took the chance. Should’ve taken more photos though.

Indeed. Wet car photos are beautiful and highly underrated.

Those are quite impressive, what phone do you have? In the past few years phone cameras became quite a lot better, with some effort my iPhone 6S can sometimes turn out pictures which are on par with effortless ones taken with my Canon 700D.

(Also, I think I need to go on more walks with my camera. I haven’t left the house today, but I could surely have used some photography to take my mind off studying.)

I really like those too, especially with the sun out. Too bad the BMW dealership right accross the street didn’t have anything special out today.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A5 2015 model. I know it’s capable of halfway good photos and thankfully it did take good ones today. It’s nowhere near the quality of the iPhone cameras though.

Going out to take pictures is a very good distraction for me, very relaxing.

those are really good. sometimes the limits of the phone camera, like blowing out the brights works to your advantage. i really like the feel of these. bright and crisp, but hazy. great composition, too. what phone were they taken with?

I’ve got a Samsung Galaxy A5 2015 model. Sometimes the camera won’t take any clear photos no matter what I do.

Phone cameras are weird. Even with independent camera apps, my iPhone 6S would still spit out turds in between a bunch of really good shots. I just got an iPhone 7. Even though the camera isn’t that much different, it’s enough to make me feel like I don’t know what I’m doing with it.

Your shots are really good. They really capture the feeling of walking around on a cool, damp fall morning just as the sun is burning off the rainfall. I can almost smell it.
